Tom Glavine’s Spring Training
Each year, Tom Glavine’s Spring Training surpasses its previous earnings, having raised $5.3 million for the Georgia Transplant Foundation (GTF) since 1992. GTF uses these funds to provide emergency financial assistance, mentoring, academic scholarships, and a host of other essential services to transplant candidates, recipients, living donors, and their families throughout the state of Georgia. Attendees at this casino-style evening will have the chance to play pool, poker, and other games against athletes from teams across the country. Athletes who have attended in past years include: Andruw Jones; Chipper Jones; John Smoltz; Alge Crumpler; Ed Martin; Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
Countdown to Kickoff
Join hosts Matt Stinchcomb, Jon Stinchcomb, David Greene and other current and former UGA football players, coaches and celebrities for the annual three-part Countdown to Kickoff event. The Fan Festival and Celebrity Dawgleg Golf Classic (held in July) provide fans with unique opportunities to golf, take pictures, get autographs, catch passes, run drills, and play games with some of their favorite UGA football players in the NFL, legends from the past, and the current UGA football team. The Dawgs for Kids Pary (held in August) is your chance to enjoy great food and drinks, mingle with Bulldog players, coaches, fans and alumni, talk about the upcoming season, and take home one-of-a-kind items from the live and silent auction. Our annual Art & Soul event is a night of musical enchantment and magnificent artwork. Over 50 pieces of original artwork are up for auction throughout the evening. Guests have an opportunity to meet with local artists as they walk through the ballroom lined with paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and unique pieces of the sort. Click here for more information.
Swing Easy Hit Hard
The Swing Easy Hit Hard Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, April 18 with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. The event will be held at the Windermere Golf Club, in Cumming, GA. On Saturday, September 21, 2013, Chef Henry of Henry’s Louisiana Grill in Acworth will celebrate the 5th anniversary of his successful liver transplant by hosting the 4th annual Liverversary Celebration to benefit the Georgia Transplant Foundation. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, music, dancing, raffles, and a live auction. The third annual Mallory’s Walk will take place at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw in memory of Mallory Smith, a two-time liver transplant recipient, cheerleader, and mentor. Money raised through the walk will help fund the Mallory Smith Legacy Scholarship, offered through GTF’s Academic Scholarship Program.
Angels of Life Hair & Fashion Show
Join us in the celebration of life during the annual Angels of Life Hair and Fashion Show, presented by Three-13 Salon, Spa & Boutique. This Community Partner Group event will feature guest speakers, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dancing, music and the “Angels of Life” inspiring Hair and Fashion show designed by Three-13’s Artistic Team!
