Join hosts Jon Stinchcomb, Matt Stinchcomb, and David Greene on Friday, October 2nd for the 15th annual DAWGS FOR KIDS virtual fundraiser, benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Georgia Transplant Foundation. It is sure to be a fun night with entertainment from your favorite UGA Bulldawgs, hear stories from UGA football legends and submit your own questions to ask them, learn about the upcoming season, and take-home one-of-a-kind items from the live and silent auctions.
The entire event will be at your fingertips through the use of your mobile device or tablet (or your desktop). Take a minute to REGISTER now for the Dawgs for Kids event by going to www.dawgsforkids.home.qtego.net and clicking on the registration link and following the prompts to ensure that you get all of the updates and day-of information you will need! Additionally, you will need to be registered to “attend” and participate in the virtual event.
In 2004, Dawgs for Kids was created with the goal of providing more birthdays for pediatric transplant patients in Georgia. Together, the event’s two benefiting organizations give vital assistance to children and their families who have basic and extraordinary financial, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Thanks to your contributions and support, we have raised more than $1.6 million over the last 14 years, enabling GTF and CHOA to grant assistance to more than 200 children each year, and helping them celebrate more birthdays!
Please join us as we Celebrate Life and recognize champions in our transplant community during a charitable evening of dinner, dancing, and unique auctions. Together, we can further the Foundation’s mission to bridge the gap between hope and opportunity by educating and enriching the lives of those affected by transplantation.
At the third annual Celebrate Life gala, presented by Care Dx, Piedmont Transplant Institute, and Emory Transplant Center, we have the privilege of honoring:
- Transplant surgeon, Dr. David Vega, and his personal transplant connection through his niece, Abby Bacho, who saved the lives of five people as an organ donor.
- Bill Backus, heart transplant recipient and two-time GTF Board President.
- Transplant nephrologist, Dr. Eda Hochgelerent, and kidney transplant recipient, Melissa Carter.
Tickets and sponsorships start at $250. All proceeds benefit the Georgia Transplant Foundation. We look forward to seeing you on Mach 13th!
