Fundraising workshop

Helping transplant patients plan and develop successful fundraising efforts with maximum effectiveness through TFP's Fundraising and Technology Workshops.

Fundraising for Transplant Needs

The Fundraising Workshop is hosted by the Georgia Transplant Foundation to help organ candidates and recipients create and organize a successful fundraising campaign once they’ve been admitted to the Transplant Fundraising Program (TFP). The workshop covers the important issues in developing a plan for how to live successfully with a transplanted organ, including: planning for post-transplant medications and other needs through successful fundraising.

The class teaches grass roots fundraising, organizing a fundraising committee and creating ideas for fundraising events. In addition to the Fundraising Workshop, GTF hosts a monthly Technology Workshop exclusively for Transplant Fundraising Program clients to learn how to set-up and use their GTF-hosted fundraising webpage for maximum effectiveness. The Fundraising and Technology Workshops are free to attend and taught monthly in Atlanta, at the GTF office, as well as at each Trends iN Transplant (TNT) Conference around the state. In 2022, we will be holding workshops in a hybrid-fashion: in-person at our offices in Roswell and virtually through zoom. Upcoming workshop dates are:

  • June 15, 2022
  • August 16, 2022
  • October 12, 2022
  • December 7, 2022
