Founded in August 1992 by Tommy Smith, a kidney transplant recipient, GTF is focused on providing both financial and educational assistance during a time that is often overwhelming for those undergoing or waiting for a transplant.

Our Impact in Georgia

With over $1.7 Million distributed In direct financial assistance (in 2019), we are the primary source for transplant patient assistance and support for all solid organ transplantation in the entire state of Georgia.

Enriching Lives

After receiving my heart transplant, I enrolled in the JumpStart Program and received financial support to take Certified Nursing Assistant Classes. Now, I have a career I would never have been able to achieve without the JumpStart Program and assistance from GTF.
